Prequel

I should have posted this before the one of my first cars on 28 May – these are the cars are used for most of my learning. Mostly it was an early Cortina (a standard model NOT a Lotus,, they hadn’t even been introduced at the time), but when this had an accident (not me!) I used an Anglia until the Cortina was repaired.

Prescription

After more problems, this time with the pharmacy, I now have some treatment for my foot, though only for 3 days.

Dreadful day

I had problems with my foot earlier this month, and have been trying for 3 weeks to speak to a doctor 9no appointments bookable except for the day you call, and all are gone before the dat starts), Finally managed to book an appointment on the phone for today. to cut a long story short, he wanted a photo, but the swelling and redness have by now reduced, so I said I would send a photo of the previous times this happened.  But apart from the current flare up, the previous events were 1-2 years ago, so I had to find the photos, and this involved 3 computers, 2 iPads and 3 mobile phones, and the stress has caused me more problems than the foot pain is now causing me. I feel very unwell now – it has worsened my heart and breathing problems.

My first three cars

Well, as close as I can get. Photograph at the side of the bus garage – now with some suitable debris!

The first car was an Imp – I really wanted red (high visibility to reduce accidents), but ended up with a white one. The second car was another Imp, in this blue colour. The third was an Austin 1300, white (though not this shade) and it was an ordinary 2 door, not the GT shown here. Mine were earlier registrations than the ones shown here (B, F and F).

Rose

The roses aren’t doing at all well either at present.

Allium

My cacti have been performing well, but everything else is hopeless this year -only 1 flower on the cyclamen, and only 2 alliums are flowering at all, and both are very unspectacular.
