Flag iris in the lily pond

Lovely weather, but I’ve not been at my best – only managed to walk half way along the lily pond (about 30 metres) before having to turn back.

The hole in the lawn

A bee goes in or comes out about every 30-60 seconds! They don’t generally pause either on the way in or out, so difficult to photograph – I need more practice!

Laburnum in the park

We used to have a superb laburnum in the back garden, but sadly it fell down several years ago.

Lily pond

With the priory ruins in the background. I managed to walk two laps of the path round the outside of the pond today – my longest walk for over a year. It did take some time though!
