Still one flower left
The camelia did not do particularly well at the main flowering time, but surprisingly there is still one flower left, and of course it has not been damaged by frost, which is the usual problem.

Mallow
I put some seed out last year, supposedly wildlife friendly. Nothing much happened in 2019, but some of it is doing well this year, although the insects aren’t showing much interest in it!

Lewisia
It was quite a challenge trying to photograph this lewisia on a very windy day, and the bee on one the alliums was even more difficult.

Weigela
I’ve never been sure what this shrub is, but plantnet has come to the rescue once again – just photograph it in the app on the phone, and it almost always comes up with what seems the right answer!
